The 1st Annual DJ Haskins Memorial Golf Tournament and Fundraiser will be held on July 31, 2026 at Brookmeadow Golf Course.

The Tournament and Fundraiser are being held to benefit The DJ Haskins Memorial Fund. The Fund was created in DJ’s memory to help provide for his children’s future and leave a lasting legacy in his name. Because golf was one of DJ’s favorite things to do, our goal is for this event to continue each year in his honor in a way that feels true to who he was, while bringing together family and friends to celebrate his life and the impact he had on so many.

DJ was born on July 6, 1990, and raised in Hough’s Neck in Quincy, Massachusetts. He was a gifted athlete and sports were a central part of his life from an early age. He grew up playing baseball and lacrosse in Quincy, but hockey was always his favorite sport, and he played for Quincy, the St. Moritz Devils, and in the Northeast Hockey (NEH) League. He graduated from Archbishop Williams in 2008, where he played football, hockey, and lacrosse, and later completed a post-grad year at Bridgton Academy, continuing his hockey career. DJ went on to graduate from SNHU in 2014, then worked for Natural Landscape before joining Local 7 as a passionate ironworker.

Above all, DJ was a proud and devoted family man. He and his wife, Jill, were blessed with three beautiful children who were the center of his world. He dreamed big for Gavin, Donovan, and Sloane’s futures. He was known by his family, friends, and those teammates in the locker room for his humor, his larger-than-life presence, and his loyalty to the people he loved. DJ will be remembered for the unforgettable energy, laughter, and love he brought wherever he went. Those who knew him knew that he lived loudly, loved deeply, and always showed up for the people who mattered most.

The DJ Haskins Memorial Fund was established in his memory so that his legacy will live on through his children and through the many people who will continue to honor him, remember him, and hold him close in their hearts for years to come.
